Why did I not receive my ErrNET™ reports via e-mail?If you did not receive your reports via e-mail, the e-mail was most likely blocked by a firewall or anti-virus software. Please check your “junk” folder or contact your server administrator to locate the e-mail.
I was unable to download my ErrNET™ reports. What should I do?
This was most likely caused by an Internet connection problem. Please click the “Check Document” button and proceed to upload your document again. The system will “remember” your session and you will automatically be passed to the “Results” page to download your ErrNET™ reports.
Does ErrNET™ work with Microsoft Word® or Corel Word Perfect® files?No, ErrNET™ works with Portable Document Format (PDF) files only.
Is ErrNET™ secure?ErrNET™ is a secure application. The ErrNET™ server has advanced SSL encryption to protect the privacy and safety of the connection from your browser to our server. In addition, we do not store your files or credit card information.
How much does ErrNET™ cost?
The cost for ErrNET™ is $0.50 for the first fifty pages checked. There are price breaks after the first fifty pages. Please see the ErrNET™ Pricing Schedule in the ErrNET™ Product Information section.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards (Visa®, Master Card®, Discover®, and American Express®), Debit/Check/ ATM cards (these cards must have either the Visa® or Master Card® logo on them), purchase orders, and check/money orders. Please see the “Purchasing Methods and Instructions” section on the ErrNET™ Product Information page for more information.
Does ErrNET™ check British (UK) English?
Yes. The grammar, style, and punctuation errors detected by ErrNET™ apply to both American (US) and British (UK) forms of English. The spellchecker includes both British and American spellings.
Is there a free trial of ErrNET™?
No. There is no Demo for ErrNET™. Please see the ErrNET™ sample reports in the ErrNET™ Product Information section. These examples show the types of errors detected by ErrNET™ and how the errors are summarized, explained, and displayed.
Can I beta test ErrNET™?
There are currently no active beta testing programs for ErrNET™.
Is there a downloadable version of ErrNET™ that I can install locally on my computer?
No. ErrNET™; runs on our servers and can only be accessed through a Web browser.
Is there academic and/or student pricing for ErrNET™?
No. There is no affiliation-based or student pricing available for ErrNET™.
Is there a minimum spacing and font size required for ErrNET™?
No. There are no spacing or font size restrictions for ErrNET™. However, for best results, section headings and/or subheadings, e.g. Results, Materials and Methods, etc., should be in bold-faced font, and make sure that there is at least twice the amount of space between the heading and text of the section as there is between the lines of the text. This would be two single spaces if your document is single-spaced and four single spaces if your document is double-spaced.
Is it safe to check confidential documents with ErrNET™?
Yes. The connection from your Web browser to the ErrNET™ server is protected with advanced Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. In addition, your documents are never viewed by anyone or stored on our servers.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Please see the “Purchasing Methods and Instructions” section on the ErrNET™ Product Information page for purchase order instructions. Please note that we accept purchase orders from the U.S. and Canada only and that a $100.00 minimum purchase is required for purchase orders.
Do you accept checks or money orders?
Yes. Please see the “Purchasing Methods and Instructions” section on the ErrNET™ Product Information page for instructions on how to pay with a check or money order. Please note that we accept checks drawn from U.S. or Canada bank offices only.
Can I set up an account for long-term use of ErrNET™?
We are currently developing ErrNET™ accounts for our website. These accounts will store customer information so that the user only needs to enter the account username and password to check documents.
