Bare vs Bear

Bare vs Bear. The bear was clearly seen roaming the bare field. Don’t expose your writing errors, use ErrNET technology for all of your copyediting needs!

Bare is without covering or clothing.

Bear as a noun is a large mammal (any of the plantigrade, carnivorous or omnivorous mammals of the family Ursidae, having massive bodies, coarse heavy fur, relatively short limbs, and almost rudimentary tails).
Bear as a verb is to hold up or support; to be able to accept and deal with something unpleasant.

Because they are pronounced the same, bare and bear are often misused in English writing. Don’t let your writing errors become grisly. Just use ErrNET technology to proof your writing because it will always bear the weight of your copyediting needs.
